I much prefer Season 8 of The Practice to Boston Legal. I hate to say it, but I do. I hate to say it, but its true. Alan Shore's wacky antics were much funnier in season 8 because they were in an atmosphere where that stuff was so inappropriate and rediculous. in Boston Legal, he's at a firm where its a normal thing to do, even encouraged by some. There's no counterpoint to his actions...makes it kind of dull and boring to me. I think if theyre going to fire or cast other people....they should bring in some serious-types because Alan Shore works best around characters that take themselves too seriously. Also, I would hate if BL went 6-Feet-Under on us. I prefer DEK to Alan Ball (he's the creator right?)...holla.
