Tdcj does not care if an officer dies of a heat stroke other than the legal ramifications such as lawsuits. Prove me wrong Bryan Collier and Oscar Mendoza. You can't. Signed Correctional Officers of Texas

Many years ago I was instructed to go to every dayroom at a 2250 and check the temperature during the hottest part of the day approximately 6 to 7 pm. They ranged depending on the building from 97 to 125 in the dayroom. Realistically I don't think at a 2250 yo can get it below 90 degrees during the hottest part of the day.i know some people are adamant about inmates having ac but it's not like they're going to drop the temperature to 68. It's still going to be hot in that mofo.BTW I used one of those laser thingamajigs to check the temp

Dumbest thing I ever heard someone say. Even if I didn’t work for TDCJ, I’m not for inmates getting AC. Staff I’m good with. $1.1 billion dollars to AC all prisons when most of these fools should have gotten the message the first time they got locked up that Texas Prisons are not a vacation spot and it’s hot. I’d bet over half have been in prison at least 2-3 times (idiots).
Finally, I don’t know why the leaders would wish your harm. It’s not up to them to get the $1.1 billion because they’ve already asked for it and the $20 million a year for maintenance for AC. It’s up to you call your legislature or write them. You might start reading some of the information on the agency website.

Dumb, I guess you haven't worked inside a prison before. In order for officers to have AC you will have to air condition the whole prison. Come on man you have too much faith in TDCJ. Stop drinking the kool-aid. I guess you would have followed Jim Jones blindly.
