Complaints of Employment Discrimination involving a Group Class of Individuals:
Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 prohibits discrimination, including harassment and retaliation based on race, sex, color, religion and national origin.
Age Discrimination involves treating someone less favorably because of their age. The Age Discrimination in Employment Act (ADEA) only forbids age discrimination against people who are age 40 or older.

I'm pretty sure that makes reference to employees who have friends and/or relatives in high places.

Generally, it means anyone who is not a white male, is over 40, does practice a religion other than Christianity or no religion at all, does engage in various sexual perversions, and is of a national origin other than the US.
