J.R. Sessions

Details unknown, however, just got a phone call telling me J.R (sonny) Sessions X sheriff, freestone co. had a massive stroke and is not doing well.
More as I receive it.

Prayers to Sonny Sessions, he is one of the really good ones......I believe he was a Ranger Captain as well.....

Sonny is a hell of a man. When he was younger he was very hands on and he is a small man, never stopped him from doing anything that needed to be done. I worked for him when he retired, he was good to us and treated us well. \
He never was a Ranger, always a sheriff.

I knew him when I was in Limestone County, he always seemed like someone people would love to work for. I know he was very well liked and respected.....

All is pretty good now. He had stop taking his blood thinner and DID have a some strokes. Evidently he received treatment in a timely manner and is resting at home at this time. Ken, the son, said he is having some trouble with memory but seems to be improving daily. Sorry for the shocking news earlier, I just repeated what I was told.
