Doesn't pass the smell test at Ferguson.......

I received an email from an employee describing an incident at Ferguson that occurred in the past day or so, and it doesn't pass the smell test. This incident should be looked into. The officer was jailed because of this search. Should an officer who was filed on by a fellow officer search that officer's vehicle? Is this payback?

Mr. Pelz,
At the Ferguson unit on yesterday a car was shaken down by an officer and given the all clear sign to pass thru. A few minutes later another officer shakes down the same car and "suddenly" finds 3 seeds of marijuana. Turns out the officer who's car was shaken down had written a statement against the officer who just "so happened" to find the seeds. Does this smell funny to you?

That is just the tip of the iceberg with the current warden at the Ferguson unit. An employee was fired yesterday soley on the statements of inmates and no evidence to collaborate the story.

Inmates were not polygraphed to verify their story but the employee was dismissed even though he strongly denied doing what was alleged. Why does TDCJ put these incompetant people in positions to oversee a major unit like Ferguson?

This is still under federal investigation folks. I know for a fact there is evidence involved, and they are not going on solely what a thief claims.
You sound like a bunch of kids. You dont know anything about this. It will come out in due time. So just set back, watch and grow up a little.

Guessing you didn't read the above post. If it was understood we wouldn't have asked what happened. Maybe we're just curious to know what the federal investigation was for? Must be something you're tied into if your not sharing. People ask questions because of wanting to know more info. If you don't want to share don't post your opinion.

Dang TDCJ you all ain't learned yet? TJDO you need to post a list of attorneys who will take this agency on with the quickness. This folks is the reason you all don't get good payraises.

It sure is the tip of an iceberg. The officers and inmates making the false accusations are getting moved around too. Just had a dirty Sergeant transfer from C.T.Terrell to Jester Four.
