But disregarding dishonest leadership, let's consider the facts.
1. Quite a few units across the state including connally are shutting down housing areas to combat staffing shortages.
2. Connally, with its less than 2000 inmate population would need to be relocated.
3. Given the custody levels of most offenders housed there, there are limited options as to where to send these offenders.
So, if you won't take it from Ms. Davis, take it from me, Connally isn't closing anytime soon. Those inmates got no where to go otherwise.
