OPEN CARRY IN UNIFORM
Posted by BOSS on August 3, 2017, 1:24 am
IS there a policy concerning employees openly carrying their personal weapons (Licensed of course) while in uniform? Now let me be clear, this would and should only happen if the employee must stop at a convenient store, NOT WALMART, to get gas or whatever to and from work only. NOT TO PARADE THROUGH TOWN TOTING YOUR GUN AS IF YOU WERE A POLICE OFFICER. Many of us drive long distances must stop for gas miles from our homes to and from work. Any uniformed person is a target nowadays and I think that everyone should be afforded the opportunity to arm themselves while stopping for necessities during travel times. Changing in the parking lot is not acceptable and is not a very good solution. Just wanted to know if anyone knew of a policy that covers this. Thank you.
