So, to carry your logic forward one more step. I suppose you're saying, since we pay police officers to enforce our laws and protect the citizenry, there should be no crime? I mean, if we're paying for police, and they're properly doing they're job - the one our tax dollars fund - correctly, we should never have to worry about crime anymore. And if we do, it's all because the police officers who are out there risking their lives just aren't working hard enough, right?
That's the most ignorant position I've seen a self-proclaimed 'educated' person take in quite some time. Think about that next time you get a speeding ticket. Don't get mad. That officer is just trying to work harder and protect the rest of us, while you, speeding, are posing a threat to my safety and security.
Anything else is unacceptable. Right?
