I don't think the fact that nothing ever happened to him had as much to do with the "Good Ole' Boy" gang as it had to do with the fact that last couple wardens at Middleton have been at the end of a TDCJ career. The senior wardens they send there would rather turn their heads about something like a night shift lieutenant spending all night sleeping. Why the major never busted his sorry arse is beyone me. I even know of G-bldg staff who came in early to work and saw him sleeping in the barber shop. Of course he had to sleep when he was working nights...was the only time he could get any rest. He was too busy committing sex crimes to get any rest when he wasn't at work.
