This is what I ( wife of LT1) just saw on the KTAB News.
Lt. Eddie Trevino of Middleton Unit was arrested in Winters, TX for sexual assault of a child and promotion of prostitution. Trevino is currently on FMLA from Middleton Unit. Wonder when they will take his job and open the position. My hubby self demoted for several reasons and 1 was because when he reported this man was dirty and sleeping on the job the then assistant warden said "Oh Well, he has been here a long time and I doubt you are right" No investigation, no anything just the usual turn your head and ignore it advice. Yes at the time my health was bad and we really needed to concentrate on finding out my diagnosis but,My hubby felt his professional and ethical standards were on the line, so he chose to remove himself from the area. I hope when he goes up for this position again the RANK and Wardens will give him the spot and trust him as an
honest person who cares for his staff and the unit. Guess when Hubby gets home tonight he will know about this if not from rank I am sure the inmates are talking about it. Sadly this may cause problems on the unit as the inmates try to show all CO"S are like this POS.
