Spoken like a true redneck. I know my job but doubt you know yours. Been a Captain for 2 years; doubt you would have made it past CO III with the standards I listed and if we had to test your idiot ass to promote to CO III, IV and so forth. We solve problems between offenders daily fool. I'm sure your supervisor does too if you work for him because 1/4 of the issues are employee related. It is America, my dad spent 20yrs in Military. Don't think I'm Hispanic because I think officers deserve incentive pay for skills such as speaking Spanish.. Finally, I'm Supervisor of Correctional Officers.. I don't guard sh*t. You guard property, I and my staff interact, make life saving decisions, respond to emergency's, and BBQ when we can. When you figure it out Oldtoot, you're life might look brighter and more importantly, your co-workers might start like having you around.
