: Is it possible to order and receive charges
: Acrylic blocks for experimental purpose.
: Can they be shipped?
Unfortunately, charge leaks away from the acrylic after only a few hours at room temperature. By chilling, charging, and then maintaining charged specimens at dry ice temperatures, some specimens can retain their charge for weeks or even months. However, some percentage (10-30%) of chilled specimens unexpectedly self-discharge with a flash and a bang. Packages that fume and emit bangs periodically are frowned upon by shipping companies and airlines. As a result, we do not offer charged specimens to the public.
