Posted by Bert Hickman on 3/20/2004, 8:38 am, in reply to "HELP" Hello Luke, Your first stop needs to be the Safety Page so that you gain an understanding of the risks beforehand: A couple of good books include: Tesla Coil Construction Guide There are also many web sites that have good information on design and theory. A couple of excellent web sites that contain accurate information and cover basics through advanced theory include the following: Another good start place is "How I Design my Tesla Coils" by Dan McCauley: The pupman site also contains pointers to some very useful design tools once you get to the stage of actually beginning to design your coil. The best one hands down is Bart Anderson's TC Designer, but you'll need study the information on the above links before attempting to use it. Welcome to the world of Tesla Coiling and good luck on your coil! -- Bert --
