I think burningman is an experience everyone should have at least once, it can break you out of some of the assumptions we make about the way society has to or is supposed to be. And being from the midwest didn't stop all the hoosiers from Lafeyette that I camped with last year from going ![]()
: Hi all,
:
: I came across your site pretty much by accident but saw all sorts of cool
: stuff. If you haven't heard of him, you should check out Dr. Megavolt's
: site. Here's a link to one of the pictures of his art exhibit from
: Burningman 2003:

:
: It's very impressive live. Counterculture meets Tesla coils, gotta love
: it!

: Hi,
:
: Thanks for visiting our site and for the kind words. I am indeed familiar
: with the exploits of Dr. Megavolt and his web site, and we've corresponded
: on a number of occasions over the years. The Dr. is indeed a true Ph.D.
: physicist, so he definitely knows his stuff. But, I sometimes wonder if he
: secretly wants to be a rock star instead... :^)
:
: Since I live in the midwest, I've never gone to Burning Man, but I've seen
: various photos and videos - sounds like quite an interesting event if you
: can take the heat.
:
: Best wishes,
:
