Posted by Bert Hickman Oops - I went back and looked at the schematic and drawing for the bjt1, so I can now see that the inductors are actually driver and feedback windings that are also magnetically coupled to the secondary. This wasn't obvious when I looked just the bjt2 schematic before. This is why an English translation would have been useful... :^) Best wishes and play safely, Bert
