--Previous Message-- Hi John, There is some information about multiphase complex dielectric systems in the scientific literature, but you'll have to do a significant amount of digging to get the answers you seek. Most of the research tends to be focused on microwave remote sensing of ice/air mistures, multiphase oil well and chemical process monitoring, and soil or rock porosity measurements. You did not mention the frequency range(s) of interest – a considerable portion of the research tends to be in the microwave or IR region. In any event, the following articles (and their associated references) should prove to be good starting points for your needs from a theoretical standpoint. I've also included a couple of practical applications articles. Let me know if you have any difficulty obtaining these: Theory: Shivola, A.H., “Self-consistency aspects of dielectric mixing theories”, IEEE Transactions of Geoscience and Remote Sensing, July 1989, Volume 27, Issue 4, pp. 403 – 415. Alexopoulos, “Analytic framework for the modeling of effective media”, Journal of Applied Physics, December 15, 1998, Volume 84, Issue 12, pp. 6815-6826 “Polarizability, Intrinsic Conductivity, and Virtual Mass”, Nice overview of nonhomogeneous materials, including dielectric and conductivity considerations, with references. http://ciks.cbt.nist.gov/garbocz/paper58/node2.html Some practical applications: Abidin Kaya, “Evaluation of Soil Porosity Using a Low MHz Range Dielectric Constant”, Turkish J. : Hi Bert,
: It's me again,
: I'm looking for the curve of dielectric constant of water in function of
: conductivity of water(~uS--mS/cm). And also the caculation of the
: dielectric constant of the water-air bubble mixture.
: But i get little information.
: I hope that you know that somewhere and give me some advises
: Thanks alot
