I had a blast, DJ-ing for the combined CYANA and Royal British Legion Paddy's Day 'do'! I wore a very uplifting kelly green top, my cup actually runneth over, with a shamrock necklace. Hey, all the guys are over 80, and if nothing else I can run faster than any of them can reach out to grope

I tried my hardest to convert them all to good music by playing lots of GBS, SOTW, Young Dubliners, and other similar stuff. It went down pretty well.

Of course I had to play "If You're Irish Come Into The Parlour" and "Paddy McGinty's Goat" as well. And some bugger had to request "Danny Boy". I really, really hate that song.

The high point of the afternoon was apparently when I tried to teach some of our Asian ladies how to do a proper Irish jig, to the tune of Kirsty MacColl's "Tell Me Ma". We got a standing ovation
