Make up/cream to cover a black tattoo?

I'm wondering how well this process would work? I want to get a tattoo, and I'm not worried about the whole for life thing, nor do I think I'd want to get rid of it at any point ... BUT, to get it, it's in a place I'd most likely need to cover up every day for work using some type of make up or cream or something! Any help about this would be appreciated.
