You are not correct, Roughly is right I have many family in Iran and they all have confirmed this is the only way the Arabs have found to destroy Persepolis without an uprising like last time they tried and the people would not allow it.
: I believe you have misunderstood the
: whole thing. Pasargad and Persepolis
: will not be affected by the dam
: construction. The dam will be
: constructed 3 miles from these
: sites. Some archeologists and others
: who are involved in different ways
: with the interest of preserving
: Iranian heritage, are concerned
: about the LONG TERM affect of the
: construction of the dam. And the
: reason for this is that the dam will
: irrigate farmlands in the area which
: some people think will drastically
: raise the humidity levels in the
: area. Some archeologist claim that
: this increased humidity level may in
: the long term damage Pasargad and
: Persepolis. We're talking about
: more than several hundreds of years
: from now. And the point is that
: there are many experts who believe
: that these people are over reacting.
: As soon as some people raised their
: concerns, certain exile opposition
: groups backed by U.S. and zionist
: elements were quick to make a
: propaganda thing out of it. And as
: I know that you share the views of
: the imperialists and zionists, it
: falls natural that you should post
: this nonsense here.
