Europe set the standard for recording history through primary sources regardless of the dirty laundry (I'm thinking Dire Straits here). I'm not saying nothing came from Persia, (tell me where I've said that?), as you say it gave us the first human rights document. But I guess we should mention famous Persian historical figures too, such as; George Washington, Madonna, Abraham Lincoln, George Patton, Neil Armstrong (the first Persian on the moon), Julius Caesar, Shakespeare, Winston Churchill and Michael Jackson. --Previous Message--

Oh come on! You know Persia has no written sources for the Greek-Persian conflict. You know that oriental kings could never record negative misshaps during their reign for their subjects to read. Enquiring minds want to know!
