Sa'dy is the great islamic poet. He is one of the leading thinkers of Tasavvuff -Sufism branch of Islam. If you are going to make statements at least do more research. Hofez - also from Shiraz memorized Qur'an in his teens, thus name Hofez - hifz( keep, memorize) from Arabic.
Open up any works of Hofez, Sa'dy, Attor, Rumi and so on - they all start with praise to God and his messenger.
