So, this question came up on another board that I belong to, and I wanted to present the question here for the trainers and handlers....
What is your opinion, for a PP or certified K9, regarding an out on someone that is moving/fighting the dog? In other words, if someone is actively fighting your dog, would you out your dog on that moving person? Why or why not? If so, is it something you trained for? If you have to deploy your dog on a suspect, and you order the person to freeze up/stop fighting the dog, does he/she listen and actually do as you order?
Just wanted some opinions on this?
