I have a question regarding drug sniffs during traffic stops. Say a k-9 officer pulls a car for a traffic violation and does not have reasonable or PC that there are drugs in the car, but he wants to sniff the car. Can the officer have legal authority to "order" the driver and occupants out of the car in order to do a sniff? Is there anything that says this can or cannot be done? Thanks
