Hi. I am accustomed to doing tension swatches for the Knitmaster 700K standard gauge machine using the Green Ruler i.e. measuring 40sts over 60 rows. But I have also acquired a chunky Knitmaster 151... and I have knitted a tension sample as per the instruction booklet and that requires measurements of 20sts over 30 rows with a blue ruler - which I don't have! Am I right in thinking that this chunky tension swatch (that really needs a blue ruler) can be measured with my green ruler if I simply half the number of resultant rows and stitches? Help!
