from what I remember on the 700 the latch guides shoud just slot onto either side of the sinker plate, if anyone knows about the knitmaster 155 it is like attaching the tuck brushes onto either side of the sinker plate.
check to see if the latch guides say right and left on them and just slot them onto the sinker plate is all.
