I was diagnosed in April of 2012 with stage 2 medullary breast cancer. I had a bilateral mastectomy with reconstructive surgery. I opted for implants. It's very difficult in the beginning but once you begin the reconstruction process, you'll start to feel better. Once everything was over, I've never regretted my decision. Actually, I have never looked back and wondered what if. It takes time but you have to think positive. It's also okay to go get help for depression. Lots of people do it. The great thing is, it sounds like your diagnosis was early enough to keep you from going through some really tough treatment. I'm happy for you in that regard.
Again, check the site often. You'll get lots of support!
Blessings to you!
