It's too bad there is't a support group where you live! My treatment ended nearly 7 years ago. I do still think about that time in my life, but I think staying busy and trying new/different things to keep our minds growing is the answer. I have learned to crochet, I like to quilt now, and I'm considering taking an Italian class offered at our university's continuing education program. I look for free groups to join.
I have no idea what I would have done without my faith and my friends at church.
Prayers that you will find a solution to let go of the past and live your life. BC truly isn't a killer like it used to be. Chances are we will die from something completely unrelated. That's what my Oncologist told me, and I do believe her.
