Thursday, September 28th was my 51st birthday and also the 5th anniversary of my last chemotherapy treatment. We celebrated with a paint party (you know the Sip and Paint where you paint on canvas with an instructor). I had about 20 family members. It ended abruptly because my mom gave us a huge scare by having some type of fainting spell that hugely resembled a stroke - we called 911 and all ended up in the emergency room. Thank God she's okay.
My life is pretty much back to normal. I don't think about cancer very much anymore. I thank God for blessing me and I hope to be an inspiration to those going through.
Chris - I was stage 2. The treatment you're probably getting ready to go through doesn't know your stage. Trust me, you will need the ladies on this site. They helped me soooooo much and I'm always grateful!
Love you ladies!!
Blessings!
