Things are up in the air for me. Had a PET scan that showed no improvement in tumor activity but also showed no new tumors. The radiologist was a bit iffy about the PET scan results. He was unwilling to say the chemo was or was not working. Onc wanted me to go home and return in 2 or 3 days to get chemo - so he would have time to decide what we were going to try. I live an hour away (about 25 miles one way). I suggested we do another round of the current chemo and then he could have 3 weeks to decide what to try next. We went with that plan. SO long story short I'm not any better but not any worse either. Will try new chemo on the 24th for at least 4 rounds then do scans again.
There has to be a chemo out there that will work for me. I'm not too worried. I still have 15 chemos I can try. Best case scenario would be for the pelvic and spinal fractures to heal enough so I can get out of the damn wheelchair and for the tumors to start shrinking or at least slowing down in their activity level. Good to pray for that!
