16 years ago I found this board so helpful when I had been dx'd with stage 2, er +ve breast cancer. I had surgery, rads and CEF chemo. All has been well until this month. Routine medical tests turned up that I now have chemo induced heart failure. I can't believe this has happened but apparently it is a very common occurance with all kinds of cancer patients especially now that they are surviving longer and longer after their treatments.
I don't know what can be done to prevent this but it is something for you to be aware of. If you have symptoms (I have none) get them checked out.
