I took Tamoxifen for 4 yrs. and unfortunately at that time I hardly ever exercised. I did gain about five pounds. Now I haven't been on it, but I do exercise often now with daily walks of at least a half an hour. I've wised up finally, exercise is really good for us all. I'm always hungry anyway, regardless if I was on Tamoxifen, or now that I'm not taking it. I try to usually eat smaller, more healthy low calorie foods. This helps a lot! If I start eating more fattening foods and then don't exercise, I notice weight gain IMMEDIATELY. It gets much more difficult as we age to stay thin. I am slim & people seem to think this just happens naturally, but it doesn't. I weigh myself daily & really watch it. Otherwise I'd be as big as a house, I'm sure of it.
