I had a rare type of BC. After doing a lot of research I was very undecided how to proceed. I received a second opinion.
My oncotype was not real high nor was it real low.
After the second consultation and support of all the team, I chose to forgo chemo. I am now 6 years out and doing well. I had a 2 lumpectomies and radiation and Femara for 5 years.
Please remember that I had a rare type of bc so this whole conversation here may not be applicable to your situation.
I have no regrets about my decision. My suggestion is once you make a decision keep moving forward. Don't look back and second guess yourself.
Remember you always make the right decision with the information you have at the time. There are no right and wrongs with all of this. It all involves your comfort level.
All choices are right choices, even the choice to do nothing.
