Thanks for all the helpful hints. I am still more awake then asleep every night. I have a diffuser and use a calming mixture in it. I get relaxed but my eyelids don't cooperate. I take Magnesium every evening (doc put me on that last year). I exert myself physically all day - most days and walk a lot. Doesn't make me sleep but gives me sore muscle. I do herbal teas, melatonin, meditation, eating popcorn (carbs some times work), and all the other suggestions that were offered. I slept a whole 5 hours last night and woke up feeling pretty good. Guess I will have to adjust to sleep every other night or every third night. This isn't the schedule I want but I get a lot of work done. I've been doing genealogy research for people and have been completing projects like crazy. Makes my customers happy and occasionally makes me fall asleep at the kitchen table. Oh well. Thanks ever so much for listening and for the suggestions. Wrote them down and will try each one, in order, when I can't sleep. I'll let you know what seems to work best. take GOoD care Zoe
