I'm hosting my first Think Pink Party. I'm creating games to bring awareness to cancer. I've created a Bingo Game and a "Family Feud" Game. I have buzzers and everything. The games will answer questions and bring awareness to most of the things people aren't aware of about breast cancer...example (hormone receptors, triple negative/positive.. Sentinel lymph node...things like that). I have the buzzer and everything! LOL I have ordered door prizes (pink calendars, pens, buttons, bags) I have gift cards for prizes...a cash drawing. Food! Fun! and Information!
Also, I am a Benefit Specialist for the GA Association of Educations/ National Teachers Associates. I go into GA schools and enroll teachers in Disability Insurance, Cancer Insurance, Accidental Insurance and Heart/Stroke/ICU Plans. I will offer my cancer plans at the parties to get people to become proactive. Our plans are only $23.60 per month and there are loads of benefits to cover cancer treatment. Example...Chemo $200/per treatment...Radiation $200/per treatment...surgery...$5,500 per surgery...great benefits. I don't know who here had a cancer plan but I was fortunate enough to have enrolled in a plan exactly 24 days prior to my diagnosis. My policy hadn't even been issued and I had to file a claim...so I know first hand how these policies can help financially. The illness it stressful enough without worrying about maintaining your lifestyle.
This will only be my first party. I'm believing that it will go over so well that God will bless me with others willing to host more parties. I am literally having the time of my life and I can tell that it's only making sense to me! Everyone else is looking at me as though I've lost my mind! I remember watching Oprah and she said, The way you know that you're doing what God called for you to do is, when you do it...it doesn't seem like work. I feel so good about this. I believe in our plan...I've seen it help others and my plan helped me! Just simply excited!
I hope someone else understands. That's why I posted!! My husband said, "What time is your little party? I need to make sure I'm not home". I said... First of all, it's not a little party (more than 20 people have RSVP) secondly, you can't go anywhere, you are my assistant and I need your help! LOL
