I'm so sorry for all the anxiety you must be feeling right now. I once had 3 masses on my ovaries--2 on one and 1 on the other. They all ended up being benign. I hope that is the case with your mother as well. My mom had ovarian cancer when she was in her early 70s. Hers was early stage and other than having a hysterectomy, she had no treatment. Unfortunately, there IS a relationship between breast cancer and ovarian cancer. When a mother has had ovarian cancer, her daughter runs a higher risk of getting breast cancer. Had I known this, I would have been more vigilant about going for a mammogram the two years before I was diagnosed. I also came up negative on the BRCA. Not sure any of this information is helpful to you though. When will they will remove the mass and biopsy it? I will pray that all goes well for your mother. Stay strong.
Hugs & prayers,
Mary
