I'm sorry to meet you all under such shitty circumstances. I know that sharing common problems can really lighten the load.
Hers my story; invasive ductal carcinoma. Stage 2a. I didn't go to a cancer center. I was referred to a surgeon and a plastic surgeon. The plan was b mastectomy and silicone implants. The surgery left me w/ a pair of 3 inch necrotic areas. One on each breast. And it gets worse.
So the necrosis was repaired by PS #2, and tissue expanders went in. Then radiation. By the end of the radiation, the tissue expander began to poke through my skin. Doc suggesting removing expander and letting skin heal. Only thing is, it's been not healing for seven months. I've been changing bandages since May 2015 and I'm in pain every day.
Tell me I'm not the only one. Thank you for your attention
