get this...I constantly worried about recurrence before my initial treatment even started...how ridiculous is that!...finally I point-blank asked my oncologist what are symptoms of recurrence...she said just report any suspicious pains/symptoms that are unusual for you...this was good advice because being over 60, I normally have aches & pains from arthritis, etc...you focus so much on your cancer that you forget that other "normal" aches & pains are still going to occur...I finally convinced myself that what's the point in surviving cancer if I'm obsessing about every little twinge...If I get a headache, I take an Advil...if it goes away, I figured it isn't cancer...I am almost 1 year past the end of my treatment and finally relaxed and quit worrying...you'll get there too...just give it time and "listen" to your body...just use your instincts...most of the time it's correct
hang in there
