I also had a lat flap done on my left because there wasn't enough skin to cover my implant = we sound like breast friends
. I also had an infection on the left and that was why I didn't have enough skin - they kept putting expanders in and I lacked enough blood supply to keep the skin from dying at the edges. My lat flap sits higher on that side too. Never found a mastectomy bra that could even it out BUT I did find that a "Genie" bra worked. Since the Genies have pockets sown in that hold a cup shaping insert it worked great for me. I needed extra volume on left and some way to elevate the right. Depending where you place the insert helped. I use 2 inserts on the left and put the right insert higher. Use a few safety pins to keep the right insert from slipping down. And the best part is you can get a Genie, in packs of 3, for less then $30 when they are on sale, which is almost all the time. If you do facebook after you search the genie.com site you will start to get ads for Genie on facebook and they usually have a code word you put on the purchase order from Genie.com to save $$. Way less cost then a mast bra.
Hope that helps
