I think that is the oncotype test to see the likely hood of the cancer returning. If I remember correctly, they don't do anything else to you, they test the tumor they've removed. I had that done and I don't remember anything drastic with that. They use it to determine the type of treatment. Hopefully someone else with jump in and answer because I don't remember much about that. That's how I know it doesn't hurt. LOL
I know all of these tests and appointments are overwhelming but it's going to be fine once you heal from the surgery and go on to the next part of the process.
Keep asking questions...it always helps to know someone has gone before you!
