so sorry you are going through this emotional roller coaster but many on here will attest to the fact this is a very normal reaction to everything you've been through...I was diagnosed with invasive BC Aug 2014 and went thru 2 surgeries, chemo, & rads....we go through more than the average person!....sounds like all the emotions you should have felt during your treatment has caught up with you...what you are feeling is quite normal and it may just take some time...I agree with Cheryl try to stay busy, helps keep the imagination in check...yes, I used to worry constantly about it coming back, but that has gotten better...I decided I did not want to waste precious days worrying about something that statistically may never happen...you can't live like that...just listen to your body and it will let you know if something needs to be addressed...about what others say, people don't always know the right thing to say out of their own fear and confusion about cancer...I noticed my cancer really scared alot of family & friends...some just stopped talking to me altogether....it's their problem and try not to let what others say bother you...American Cancer Society does offer referrals to counselors who specialize in the emotions of having cancer...they can help you if this becomes a persistent problem...please just give yourself time to not only heal physically but emotionally as well...I finally stopped worrying about recurrence on a daily basis...time does heal...
hugs
