Hi Christina, Sometimes survivorship can be as difficult, or even more difficult, than treatment because your body (and mind and soul) have been through so much. Also, I think it's natural to assume that you can go right back to the life you had before diagnosis, and maybe some women do, but many women are changed forever and need to feel their way around to a new normal. That takes time and believe it or not, a year is NOT a long time. There are many adjustments and we are changed forever with a diagnosis and treatment. That doesn't mean life is worse, just that it may be different. After I finished treatment, I also thought I would be elated, but instead I just felt beat up (my treatment was 15 months). The whole process of survivorship after treatment was confusing, and it took time and effort to figure out how to "rebuild" my life and what my priorities were since they had changed. I think your feelings are perfectly natural and that you will find your new normal. Time and patience will lead you to that. Hugs & prayers, Mary
