although I was diagnosed with triple positive 13 months ago, we all share the same experience, fear, doubt, sadness, grief, etc, etc...I finished my acute treatment 1 month ago and I'm feeling great..my old ski injuries in my knees give me more trouble than the cancer LOL...yes, the magnificent survivors on here have given me great inspiration...I have finally stop thinking about cancer on a daily basis and am living life...the treatment regime pretty much will take up most of your time but try to do fun things in between as well...I went on a cruise during chemo!!...cancer is still a scary word but it is NOT the death sentence it used to be..treatments are so fabulous that it's more like treating a chronic illness like diabetes..we can live with BC..my first inspiration came from a man I met on a plane coming back from Florida...he told me he had had 2 heart attacks and a bout with prostate cancer but was doing great and going on cruises also...he made me see you can survive and live with cancer so you will be just fine and there is HOPE HOPE HOPE!!...you'll be amazed how brave you'll be...just take it one day at a time and you'll eventually come out on the other side just like I did...a stronger more confident person...keep us posted!!
