Dorothy - Same with my nails. During chemo the nails on my big toes lifted from the nail bed and the old nail attached to the healthy nail fell off. Now some of my nails are split into two. I try and keep them trimmed as close as possible and use clear nail "hardner" with minimal success. Wear gloves when doing dishes and blow underneath your finger and toe nails with a hair dryer to help prevent getting a fungus.
