I keep having weird symptoms after my chemo has ended. I would have thought I would have had these problem during chemo.
I finished TCH in Feb. and my Herceptin three weeks ago after taking it for one year. My fingernails are now peeling in layers. They are an absolute mess...peeling off and extremely soft and bendable. I've been keeping clear polish on them to try and strengthen them, but it doesn't seem to be helping. Anyone else having/had this problem? Any ideas/suggestions?
BTW - I did get an MRI of my sore shoulder. It revealed bursitis and tendonitis. The ortho doctor called it frozen shoulder. He said it is a result of the chemo and/or radiation. He said it was too inflamed to not have come from an injury so it must be reacting to what my body has been through. It is not on the same side as my breast cancer though, but it is on the same side as my port was on. I got a cortisone shot last week and will beging PT this week.
