Dear Debbie H,
I am also triple negative(twice) and have been treated with chemo twice and rads once(35). I do not understand parp, it may be a new protocol. I had surgery then chemo both times with rads only on the first occurence.
With the lymph node involvement, I would be as aggressive as possible. Triple negative responds best to chemo, that is why don't understand the waiting . Check with another onc. and see what they say. I always assumed chemo or surgery was first and rads after.
I guess perhaps things have changed. Good luck to you, research triple negative and learn as much as you can, you might end up being better prepared to take charge of your medical protocol than your doc.
Love, Debbie
