Hey There Sara,
I'm sorry to hear about your GI issues. I hope your medicine will be more effective and work quickly! 
I know how I felt after having diarrhea for 3 days in a row. I thought it was the little bit of spicy chili which I ate over rice. Even though knew I shouldn't have eaten the chili, I did, because it smelled so good. Anyway, my onco told me that having chemo = gut problems!!! I'm praying for you, Girl!
I imagine that it hurts to have your daughter distancing herself from you, Sara. It could be a normal developmental stage and it could have some to do with your illness. Like one of the other gals suggested, when you're up to it, maybe the two of you could have a talk...
Praying that tomorrow is a better day for you, Sweetie, in more ways than one!
