Hi there,
A friend of mind was telling me that each year she has thermography screening. I have actually never heard of it. She has her annual mammogram but also has this thermogram test. She says that thermography can pick up on any abnormalities before they get to become a problem.
In July I had what was termed as a 'node' show up on my mammogram and I had an ultrasound. My doctor assures me it is nothing to worry about. I asked if I should have a mammo in 6 months she didn`t think it was necessary. May I add she is a doctor that sends you off for tests for most things. So I guess that is encouraging that she doesn`t think it is necessary.
Having said that it is still bothering me so I was wondering about this thermography.
Can anyone shed some light on this.
