I had b/c nine years ago. I had a mastectomy with Tamoxifen for 5 years. Now, I'm scared that cancer has come back and it has spread. I had a lump on my arm for over a year. Dermatologist said it was nothing, not to worry. Then, I had it scraped and biopsied in early October. It came back as a basal cell, all scary and rare. Had excision done this week in the hospital by my b/c surgeon. I have a large scar on my forearm. My b/c doctor feels that it was a skin cancer only. My dermatologist felt that it was something much, much worse.
I'm scared and waiting for the next set of pathology reports. It could be mets.
