Its true that doctors do tell you that it is tolerable. And the truth is that for some patients the side effects are minimal. But for me and for the majority of patients the side effects are moderate to severe. I think the doctors feel that the alternative is not good. For those who have not had a recurrence they may feel that for them it is better to take the chance (if the chance is small) not taking the arimidex or other hormone drugs, but for women like me who have had a recurrence to the nodes in my lung it does scare me not to take it. Its a tough decision for many. Hugs!
