Welcome to this sight. There is so much support and good advice. I agree with everyone here. Please do not delay your treatment. You can beat this and your children need you. Don't let your husband's disease impact your decision.
I can sympathize with you about living with alchoholism. Both my parents were alcoholics....please do not blame yourself for what he does. He's using any excuse he can to drink....even your diagnosis.
I agree with many others responses. Getting help from your family, friends or support groups like Alnon or church group is important. You may have to leave the toxic environment you are in to concentrate on healing. Alcoholics can bring you down and you don't need that right now. You need support and it is so important that you find it. Please come and post here often. Everyone here will do their best to help you get through this....You can do this!
